Corentyne teacher dies after crashing into fence, shed

A Corentyne teacher died yesterday morning after he lost control of the vehicle he was operating along the Albion Public Road and crashed into a utility pole,  a  fence and then a garage shed.

Dead is Sydney Cort, 39, a teacher at the Port Mourant Primary School,  Rose Hall Town, Corentyne. The crash occurred around 1.15 am yesterday.

According to information gathered, Cort was proceeding west allegedly at a fast rate when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole. His car then reportedly spun into the fence and shed and came to a halt in a nearby yard.
