Newcomer Airy Hall FC squeaked past Dynamic by a 2-1 scoreline when the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) Senior Men’s League continued on Sunday evening at the Buxton Community Centre, ground.
Second-half strikes from the duo of Eion Abel and Jesen Wronge secured the come-from-behind win. Bryan Wharton gave Dynamic the initial lead with a conversion in the 23rd minute. The score was unchanged heading into the halftime interval.
However, the burly Abel equalised in the 65th minute, as he blasted his effort past the custodian from inside the penalty area. The comeback was then sealed in the 85th minute, as Wronge slotted past the shot-stopper.
