MACORP notifies President of future plans

President Irfaan Ali was yesterday apprised of the Machinery Corporation of Guyana’s (MACORP) future plans for the country and assured of its commitment to invest in a number of areas, including education and training.

A release from the Office of the President said that the Head of State was given this assurance during a meeting held with MACORP’s executive team led by the CEO, Guillermo Escarraga, at the Office of the President.

The release said that Escarraga expressed gratitude to Guyana for facilitating the company’s progress over the last three decades while recommitting to advancing investments in other sectors.

Ali was joined by Director of Projects at the Office of the President, Marcia Nadir-Sharma.
