XX11 C/wealth Games: Edghill flawless on opening day of women’s singles

Local table tennis star, Chelsea Edghill, kicked off her women’s singles campaign in fine style yesterday, dominating her two opponents to progress to the next round of these XX11 Commonwealth Games currently underway here in Birmingham, England.

Playing in front of a packed audience at the National Exhibition Centre, Hall 3, Edghill, dispatched Tammi Agari of Papua New Guinea, winning 11-2, 11-4, 11-5, and 11-5.
