The Lady Jaguars ended their campaign in the CONCACAF Girls U15 Championship on a positive note, defeating Turks and Caicos 3-1 yesterday at the Hillsborough County Sportsplex Field in Tampa Bay, Florida.
The clash was a repeat of the opening group stage encounter, which ended 2-2. It was Guyana’s first win in the tournament. Guyana ended the tournament with a record of two losses [1-3 Nicaragua, 1-3 Cayman Islands].
The 17-member squad which featured nine domestically-based players, was coached by Delon Williams. The assistant coach was Kayla DeSouza, while Natalie Nedd served as the goalkeeper coach.
