Pele FC Alumni, UG ink historic bursary award agreement

Pele FC Alumni, and the University of Guyana (UG) inked a historic bursary award agreement, which will offer five undergraduate scholarships at the country’s highest tertiary institution.

This was disclosed by an official release from the entity yesterday. The initiative is being facilitated under the Philanthropy, Alumni, Civic Engagement (PACE) programme. Present at the igning ceremony were Pele FC Alumni Treasurer, Patrick ‘Labba’ Barton; Chairman, Denis Carrington; and Executive Committee Member, Eric ‘Riggy’ Smith. The university was represented by Professor Mohamed, and Travonna Azeez. Also in attendance was Dr Mark Kirton.
