A 22-year-old woman was stabbed to death last evening by one of two women who are sisters following an argument that erupted between them last week.
The suspects are currently in Police custody.
The dead woman has been identified as Vanessa Anderson of ‘B’ Field Sophia, Squatting Dam, Greater Georgetown.
According to reports, the fatal stabbing took place at about 5:30 pm on the street, just in front of Anderson’s home.
It was said that she sustained two stab wounds to the left side of her back with a knife, and the stabbing was done by the younger of the two sisters.
Anderson leaves to mourn her three children including an eleven-month-old baby.
