The file on the Mandela Avenue accident which claimed the life of 42-year-old Odessia Sam and has since left her friend Wendel Oudkerk bedridden, is scheduled to be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice today.
According to the Guyana Police Force’s Deputy Director of the Corporate Communications Unit, Stan Gouveia, Traffic Chief, Senior Superintendent Ramesh Ashram has said that the survivor is still bedridden and that the investigation is still open. As such, the file is expected to be sent to the DPP for advice.
The now deceased Sam who resided at Lot 170 Middle Road, La Penitence, Georgetown, and Oudkerk of Lot 65 Lamaha Springs, Georgetown, were involved in an accident which occurred on June 29 along Mandela Avenue, Georgetown.
