The ‘Keep Ya Five Alive’ Futsal Championship will resume this evening at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue, with eight exciting matchups, as teams vie for a berth in the quarterfinal section.
In the opening match at 19:00hrs, Poor People Defence will oppose Future Stars, while Tiger Bay locks horns with Beterverwagting (BV) at 19:30hrs, and Albouystown Warriors take aim at Swag Entertainment of Linden from 20:00hrs.
In the fourth encounter, Slingerz FC will tackle Family from 20:30hrs, with Bent Street engaging Stabroek Ballers at 21:00hrs, and Gold is Money engaging East Front Road at 21:30hrs.
The final two fixtures will pit Back Circle against Vengy at 22:00 hrs, and Sparta Boss against Pike Street Sophia from 22:30 hrs.
The event continues at the same venue on the 20th. The other playing dates are August 20 at the National Gymnasium, with the final penciled for the 27th at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
