The Guyana Teachers’ Union (GTU) says it has lost a stalwart in Samuel Archer, former President of the GTU and former Regional Vice President (Berbice).
On its Facebook page, the GTU said that Archer served the education profession for 39 years. Twenty-three of those years were spent as a Headmaster.
The funeral service will be held today at the All Saints Anglican Church.
Viewing and tributes will commence from 13:00hrs.
