Dear Editor,
A new nature resort has opened at Rupa Place, Bel Air Park. Here you will witness the water overflowing the road and cascading into the opposite drains rivalled only by Kaieteur Falls. There are three swimming pools and lush green vegetation on the side of the pools.
For the more brave and adventurous there is a hazardous trek through the crater-like track to the reservoir two corners away. There you may have sightings of wild animals, snakes, alligators and birds that escaped from the zoo among the jungle-like environment. Please do not forget to bring along lots of mosquito repellents and come prepared with your long boots.
We also cater for fishing enthusiasts. Wear bright clothing as the traffic on this road is constant and heavy, sometimes wild and noisy. Please note that the resort will not be responsible for injuries to visitors who do not conform to the rules.
This resort has been visited several times by the Deputy Mayor and other officials of the City Council; important officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure have given their blessings.
Tickets for entry to this conveniently spectacular resort located right here in G/T can be uplifted from the Deputy Mayor at City Hall. You are invited to come and enjoy a day of fun and participate in all the activities.
Yours respectfully,
Hema Persaud
