An overseas-based Guyanese man who visited Guyana to get married died after an accident along the Bath Public Road this afternoon.
Dead is Beeshan Dhoray, also known as Lako, of Queens, New York. His wife, Viroshni Persaud, is currently critically injured.
Stabroek News was told that the couple, who wedded according to Hindu rights over the weekend in Canefield, East Canje, Berbice, had been returning from Georgetown after signing documents to become legally husband and wife.
