DPP’s office in outreach to Region Two Amerindian communities

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) recently concluded a three-day public outreach to Essequibo, Region Two.

A release from the DPP’s Chambers said Senior State Counsel Tiffini Lyken and DPP Communications Officer Liz Rahaman were accompanied by Police Sergeant Monette Boston of the Sexual Offences Unit at the Anna Regina Police Station during the outreach, which saw the team visit the Amerindian communities of Bethany in the Supenaam Creek and Mashabo on August 16, Capoey on August 17, and Saint Denny’s in Tapakuma and Whyaka Mainstay on August 18.
