Ashley Khalil was crowned the Women’s Champion at the XXVII Senior Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) Championship, defeating countrywoman Taylor Fernandes 3-1 last evening in Jamaica.
Losing the first set 9-11, Khalil equalised 11-5 in the second stanza. She then took the lead in the third set following an 11-2 score. The gold medal was then clinched in the fourth set via an 11-4 score-line.
