As investigators remain hopeful of cracking the brutal murder of 35-year-old Romeo Randolph and bringing justice to his family, there have been no new leads or arrest since the man’s body was found more than two weeks ago.
Speaking to Stabroek News, Regional Commander of Region #3 Senior Superintendent Mahendra Siwnarine said that although the investigation remains open, there has been no new development.
The body of Randolph, a farmer and boat captain of Hog Island, Essequibo River and also of Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo (EBE), was found on August 7 floating in the Essequibo River with his mouth taped and his hands and feet tied with yellow rope.
