Specify who was directed to identify the relevant infrastructural standards

Dear Editor,

The Minister of Public Works was overheard describing having a set of infrastructural works in the hinterland regions being completed to international standards – presumably not comparable with the Thomas Lands Road faux pas.

It would be helpful if the Minister could be more precise and specify who of his senior technical staff have been directed to identify the relevant standards, and from which country, in order to ensure that the particular infrastructural standards are compatible with the requirements of the conditions to be fulfilled locally. Otherwise, the Minister’s blessings would earn little or no credibility.

Sincerely,
