A Gafoor’s Hardware Store employee died yesterday afternoon after a rack of windows came crashing down on her at the company’s Land of Canaan site on the East Bank of Demerara (EBD).
The now deceased woman has been identified as Cindy Jattan of Grove, EBD.
Stabroek News understands that the young woman was sitting under the rack of windows in the windows department when it suddenly fell on her, pinning her to the ground.
