Slingerz FC and Den Amstel will contest the final of the West Demerara Football Association League Knockout Championship, following semi-final wins on Friday evening at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora, West Coast Demerara.
Slingerz FC dismissed Uitvlugt 2-0. Simeon Moore and Delon Lanferman found the back of the net in the 44th, and 68th minute respectively.
Meanwhile, Den Amstel edged Pouderoyen 1-0. Kester Jacobs scored in the 85th minute, directing his header into the back of net. The respective losers will contest the third place playoff.
