The Guyana National U14 Boys football team opened their three-match tour of Suriname with a loss to the Voorwarts U16 side yesterday.

The Guyanese went down to their neighbouring counterparts by a 0-2 score-line. They will now oppose Transvaal today at 16.30 hours, before ending their tour against Inter Wanica at 17.30 hours in their final match tomorrow.

The U14 squad comprises: Kemron Pellew, Caio Paul, Joseph Eusebio, De Angelo Dick, Machaia Defreitas, Mikkel Mills, La Andre Garnett, Ezekiel Baldeo, Michael Joseph, Jason Felix, Delyman Hendricks, Luke Lavigne, Keshon Leacock, Jemeal Garnett, Nicholas Tixey, Shaquan David, Isaiah Ifill, Jaden Harris, Levi Sampson, and Malcolm Hendricks.

The coaching staff encompasses: Devnon Winter (Head Coach), Joyann Williams (Team Manager), Selwyn Isaacs (Asst Coach), Andre Gibbs (GK Coach), and Mark DeFreitas (Assistant Manager). The team was withdrawn from the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Boys U14 Challenge Series in the Dominican Republic due to a lack of available flight options.
