The Guyana Defence Force (GDF), Fruta Conquerors and Vengy FC cruised to victories, when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Senior Men’s League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
The army unit outflanked Northern Rangers 7-0. Olvis Mitchell led the rout with a brace in the 24th and 46th minute, while Ryan Hackett tallied a double in the 27th and 54th minute. Adding goals in the 57th, 76th, and 80th minute respectively were Runnel Gordon, Ian Dooker, and Delroy Fraser.
Meanwhile, Fruta Conquerors downed Riddim Squad 3-0. Stephon Walton, Gregory Richardson, and Lance Barker scored in the 28th, 70th, and 80th minute respectively.
Similarly, Vengy crushed Eastveldt 4-0. Alberto Rojas, DaCosta Boyce, Angel Hines, and Johanni Mendonza found the back of the net in the 20th, 34th, 64th, and 80th minute respectively.
