Three women yesterday appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court to answer to charges of assault, wounding and threatening behaviour.
Esther Prass, 23, and Pearl Prass, 19, both of Lot 15 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, and Andrea Greene, 31, of ‘B’ Field Sophia, Georgetown, stood before Magistrate Dylon Bess who read to them their various charges.
The charge which Esther Prass denied, alleges that on August 9, at Front Road, West Ruimveldt, she unlawfully and maliciously wounded Greene. She was released on $40,000 bail.
Pearl Prass was charged with unlawfully assaulting Greene on the same date and address. She, too, pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted $20,000 bail.
The charge against Greene alleges that also on August 9 at Front Road, West Ruimveldt, she made use of threatening behaviour to Esther Prass. Greene who also denied the allegation against her was placed on $10,000 bail.
The matters were adjourned to September 14.
