Region Three police are probing a report that two employees of Elite Protection Service were robbed yesterday morning of $5.8m.
A statement from the police said that the two, a 45-year-old male of Leguan, Essequibo River and a 71-year-old male of Wakenaam, Essequibo River, were robbed in a bus which was traversing Clay Brick Road. The two robbers escaped on a motorbike.
