Dear Editor,
In the continuing imbroglio between the Government and the African organisation over allegations and counter allegations about accountability and transparency, two points struck me: From the inception of the war of words, why did the organisation not make known its affairs were audited for the period 2018-2021 by a government agency, and given a clean bill of health? Secondly, how is it possible that the government did not know that the organisation accounts were audited for the period as stated? Confusing to say the least. Is there more in the mortar than the pestle?
