Four hundred and fifty persons who are beneficiaries of house lots at the Experiment Housing Scheme, West Coast Berbice will now be able to access their lands and commence construction of their homes, following the completion of infrastructure at a section of the scheme, according to a release on Wednesday from the Central Housing & Planning Authority (CHPA).
It stated that over $455 million has been invested for infrastructure works in the area. The works began in 2021 and are now 85 per cent complete. The works include the construction of access roads, bridges and culverts, as well as, the installation of water supply networks.
