Christopher Griffith rode off with the spoils of the Team Alanis/Carl’s Construction Inc. 22-lap event which was staged on the outer circuit of the National Park Sunday.
The Team Evolution standout stopped the clock at 1h: 57m.27s, besting the likes of Briton John and Deeraj Gharbarran who joined him on the podium.
The resurgent Robin Persaud, Curtis Dey and Walter Grant-Stuart completed the top six paid positions.
John, however, claimed the lion’s share of five sprint prizes while Gharbarran and Griffith earned two apiece. Kwame Ridley claimed the other sprint prize.
Mario Washington brought his talents from Berbice and pedaled away with the junior category. He was followed by Alexander Leung and Ajani Cutting in that order.
Persaud, also of Team Evolution, once again won the Veteran’s U-50 category while Grant-Stuart placed second and Segan Hubbard third.
Meanwhile, in the Veteran’s O-50 category, Ian Jackson rode in first, followed by Talim Shaw and Kennard Lovell.
Marica Dick was the top female rider.
