Agronomist Dr Oudho Homenauth passed away yesterday at the age of 65.
Dr Homenauth was the former Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute.
Minister of Agriculture Zulfikar Mustapha along with the management and staff of the Ministry and its agencies today extended condolences to the relatives and friends of Dr Homenauth.
“Dr. Homenauth served as Chief Executive Officer of the National Agriculture Research and Extension Institute for over two decades. His contribution to the sector remains invaluable and will never be forgotten”, a statement from the ministry said.
