Dear Editor,
A few months ago a resident of Industry penned a few letters to your newspaper regarding a very bad section of road on 6th Street, Industry. To date nothing has been done to rectify this major problem. This is quite unlike the usual response of the Ministry of Public Works who would normally quickly rectify damaged roads brought to its attention.
Recently the Ministry of Education opened an Annex to Graham’s Hall Primary in the compound of Graham’s Hall Secondary School. This has meant an increase in traffic along the access roads to the school compound. This damaged section falls smack in the middle of the intersection of the two main routes to the school compound. This causes major traffic build up which leads to much inconvenience and frustration.
Here’s hoping the Ministry of Public Works can revert to their usual mode of quick response and act in a timely manner to fix this damaged section of the road. Such action will bring welcome relief to many.
Yours faithfully,
M. Abraham
