Jets Number Four and Number One basketball teams secured the senior and junior titles in the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) 3×3 Championship which was staged at the Retrieve Hard Court in Mackenzie recently.
In the senior divisional final, Jets #4 defeated the Royals 15-10. Quincy Easton clinched the Most Valuable Player (MVP) accolade. On the other hand, Jets #1 defeated Jets #4 by a 16-12 score-line in the junior divisional championship fixture. Tishawn Kitt was adjudged the MVP.
The top two finishers from each division were presented with trophies and replicas by LABA President Lawrence Simon at the presentation ceremony.
