A swimming coach was on Friday released on $60,000 bail after pleading not guilty to a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The charge against 54-year-old James Campbelle states that on August 25 at Baramita Street, Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on Roseann Chow.
The father of two who appeared before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly in the City Court, denied the allegation and was granted $60,000 bail. He was also ordered to keep the peace until the conclusion of the matter.
The case was then adjourned until September 30.
