Charlestown Secondary creates ExxonMobil history

History was created last evening as Charlestown Secondary became the first school to secure the boy and girl’s ExxonMobil football championships at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

In the boy’s division, Charlestown edged Ann’s Grove 3-2 on penalty kicks after regulation time ended 1-1. Prior to the penalty shootout, Malcolm Hendricks propelled Charlestown into the lead in the 19th minute, only for Tiquan Frank to equalize in the 26th minute.
