The Ministry of Agriculture yesterday announced that the Government of Guyana has taken a decision to suspend with immediate effect the three percent processing fee on the invoice price for dairy products.
In a statement, the ministry said it has instructed the Guyana Livestock Development Authority to discontinue the collection of the fee.
All sanitary requirements for the importation of dairy products remain in force it said.
