A former Western Tigers footballer Shaun Thompson, who resides overseas, has donated a quantity of football equipment to his old club.
Thompson, who also played first division basketball for Globetrotters, and who now resides in Long Island, USA, made a timely donation of Uniforms, balls and bibs to the club.
Present was club president Roger Moe brother of Western Tigers and Guyana International Julian Moe and former Coach Allan Walker who guided Western Tigers to championship honours in the 1986 Demico League. He also won a knockout tournament with the club.
Thompson, a former Customs Broker and his wife departed Guyana recently after a hectic 10 day visit. (Charwayne Walker)
