Dear Editor,
There were four names given for the Elections CoI, but only three took the oath of office, after a lengthy time elapsed. To date it remains unclear as to the reason(s) Dr. S Y Quraishi, former Chief Election Commissioner of India, did not take the oath and if he will play any part in the CoI. Just what is his status, having been named? Some explanation ought to be provided.
