Two women who traded derogatory remarks on internet charged with cybercrime

Two women who made derogatory Facebook posts about each other were yesterday charged with cybercrime and released on $10,000 bail each.

Donnetta Thornhill, 31, of Lot 111 Princess Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown, and Kristeena Baird, 50, of Lot 419 Jamoon Drive, West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, both pleaded not guilty to their respective charges.

The charge against Thornhill, who is a member of the Georgetown City Constabulary, states that between January 1 and July 20, at Princess Street, she published computer data that was vulgar to Baird, causing her embarrassment.
