Some of the biggest names in Caribbean music are scheduled to headline Guyana’s Cricket Carnival super concerts, which are scheduled this week.
The super concerts will be held on Thursday and Saturday nights at the Guyana National Stadium at Providence.
Scheduled to perform at Thursday’s concert is soca artiste Patrice Roberts. Roberts is sharing the billing with legendary reggae artiste Beres Hammond.
Hammond, in an Instagram post earlier this week, said that he was excited to return to Guyana perform. “Are you ready Guyana? It’s been far too long! I’m coming for you,” he said in the post.
Meanwhile, Saturday night’s super concert will be headlined by soca star Machel Montano and dancehall sensations Spice and Skillibeng.
Tickets for both concerts can be purchased at the HJ Box Office, Fireside Grill, Xtra Energy (Stabroek Market), Stove Top Restaurant, LaRose Boutique, That Look Boutique, White Castle Fish Shop, World Access Top Shop (Mackenzie), Exclusive Styles Boutique, Everest Cricket Club, Hard Rock Café, Giftland Department Store, Tribe Gastronomic Lounge, Kings Jewellery World, Two Brothers Gas Station (Vreed-en-Hoop & Vergenoegen) and Xs Bar & Lounge.
