Devi Persaud, the 12-year-old who went missing after leeaving her Sisters Village, West Bank Demerara home on Monday, was found today at a Corentyne, Berbice home.
Director of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Corporate Communication Unit, Mark Ramotar confirmed that police acting on information went to the Berbice home where a search was conducted and Persaud was found.
Three occupants of the house, a couple and their teenage son, were taken into police custody and are assisting with the investigation.
Persaud, called ‘Ashley’ left her 74-year-old grandmother’s home on Monday morning to visit her aunt, Aklema Persaud, but she never showed up.
