The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) has announced that it is seeking to extend access to its Mobile Money, Guyana (MMG+) service by increasing the number of agents beyond the 800-odd operatives currently providing the service across the country.
In a media release seen by the Stabroek Business the company said that the decision to offer more recruits to provide the service opens up an opportunity to grow their own businesses through the company’s “Agent Acquisition Campaign.” GTT said its new campaign to recruit additional agents also “allows ordinary Guyanese to provide a safe, convenient and transformative service for their communities, while earning commission to support themselves and families.”
