Following the completion of his inaugural season in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Next Pro League, Chicago Fire II rising star, Omari Glasgow, affirmed that the tournament is very intense, and indicative of what competitive football entails.
This was disclosed during an exclusive interview with Stabroek Sport. According to the Golden Jaguars international, “[the first season] was great, [I] had a chance to see what football at a high level daily feels like and how competitive it is. The quality was good, [it’s] very intense and sharp so you have to be on your ‘A’ game all the time.”
