Despite their dormancy on the international circuit since competing in matches in the 2022 CONCACAF Nations League in June, the Golden Jaguars have climbed in the FIFA ranking to 171st out of 211 affiliated nations.
This was confirmed by the world governing body, FIFA, following the official publication of the October rankings yesterday. The Guyanese sit on 968.74 points, and improved on their previous position of 172nd in the August publication.
The team, which possessed 969 points during the previous edition, is currently sandwiched between Caribbean rivals Puerto Rico (170th), and St Lucia (172nd).
