Dear Editor,
Finally pensioners have been considered, but the additional voucher in the form of a one off grant, before the end of the year, is not something to grandly behold, in the prevailing economic circumstances. True it is an additional $1.8B on the national coffers, but with no increase from NIS on the horizon, it is felt the consideration could have been more meaningful. Even private cane farmers fared better and they too might be pensioners.
