Narrow escape for trio after Anna Regina three-vehicle crash

Three persons are thanking God for their survival after a driver lost control and slammed into their vehicles at Anna Regina around 9 am today.

 

According to the information received, the driver of PAC 8342, Punraj Samaroo lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a white Allion PPP 7038 and a bus BVV 6436 at Anna Regina, Region Two. The two vehicles were parked at the time of the accident. 

 

Samaroo ended up in a drainage trench. He told the media that he was heading to Anna Regina to uplift chicken to sell when he lost control. He said he believed his car malfunctioned which resulted in the accident.

 

“We heard the loud impact and then we saw the driver in the trench, I am glad no one was injured it’s sad but no one was injured,” an eyewitness said.

 

The driver is said to be cooperating with police and the accident is currently under investigation. The vehicles were extensively damaged.
