Teams from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines are set to arrive today for the 2022 Caribbean Mini Pre Cadet Table Tennis Championships.
According to a press release, the championships will run from Friday to 19th October at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall Homestretch Avenue.
The championships caters for players 13 years and under and 11 years and under.
Guyana will field eight boys and eights girls in each of the two divisions, the release stated.
Among the Guyana players set to be in action are Samara Sukhai, Jasmine Billingy, Akira Watson, Malachi Moore, Ebo Mc Neil and Darius Daniels.
Action will be held daily at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall from 10am to 1230 and 2.30pm to 6pm.
The first set of matches will commence Friday with the formal opening set for Saturday at 3pm.
