According to a release, the trial will commence from 10:00hrs and will be staged at the National Track and Field Centre ahead of the three-day Games set to return from November 25.
Guyana will be hosting the Inter Guiana Games (IGG) which is scheduled to be staged at various venues from November 25-27.
The release stated that the trial is for all athletes under the age of Twenty (20) in all regions of Guyana.
Athletes must be enrolled in an institution of learning to be eligible for participation.
The events for the trial will be

* 400m Male/Female
* 800m Male/Female
* 1500m Male/Female
* 3000 Female
* 5000 Male
* Long Jump
* Triple Jump
* High Jump
* Shot Put
* Discuss
* Javelin
