We are heading down a road where the state is becoming lawless

Dear Editor,

Humans are complex beings. A criminal may warn a righteous man about the dangers he is faced with; it has been that way from biblical times. I was asked if I would walk away from this struggle to see my country liberated because of how dangerous it may get for me. I am not afraid of what men can do to my person. I am afraid of what God will do to me if in this lifetime the fight against evil is even momentarily stalled.

When powerful politicians in the epicentre of government can publicly and with bitterness and scorn call activists useless people… when the president can instruct his advisor to write in defence of petty hustlers and opportunistic PPP agents when they are exposed for who and what they are, we are once again heading down a road where the state is becoming lawless and will once again protect violent criminals in their midst.

The PPP has presided over the worst violent period in our recent history. Am I afraid of any plots or threats? The answer is a resounding, no!

Sincerely,

Norman Browne
