Dear Editor,
As the Christmas season is upon us, what measures are being taken from the relevant authorities to ensure we celebrate this season in the joyous manner in which it is intended?
I bring your attention to our road ways specifically on the East Bank corridor in the vicinity of Grove. The western carriageway has been in a devastating state. I have seen contractors working over and over on that one area, still awaiting for it to be rectified. Are we waiting until Christmas to get busy to fix this road resulting in traffic being backed up more than what it already is at the moment?
The minister announced an alternative route expected to link Grove and Diamond; to date no announcement was made on the progress of this alternative route even if it has materialized or was just another promise to calm the masses which eventually would never have manifested.
Sincerely,
M. Imrit
