Dolphin Secondary and West Ruimveldt Secondary schools recorded impressive wins to conclude their respective campaigns in the 2022 GuyOil Secondary Schools Football League at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue Sunday evening.
Dolphin mauled North Ruimveldt 14-0. Jamal Williams registered a helmet trick, while Nicholas Tappin and June Charles tallied respective hat-tricks. Adding one goal apiece were Requan Kerwin, Gerry Burnette, Taquan Cole and Cordell Peters.
Dolphin now occupies the third position on 11 points whilst North Ruimveldt dropped to seventh place on seven points.
Similarly, West Ruimveldt crushed Friendship 6-0 to finish in sixth place on seven points. The trident of Elijah Sattaur, Nickolas James and Mark Thomas recorded respective braces. Friendship ended their campaign pointless in the cellar position.
The final two matches in the event will occur on November 6th and will decide the outcome of the tournament. League leader Christianburg/Wismar will oppose second-place Golden Grove while third-place President’s College will battle fourth-positioned Cummings Lodge.
