On Monday, Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) officers conducted an operation in the vicinity of the Sophia (48) Bus Park where they intercepted a male carrying a bag.
A subsequent search was conducted revealing a quantity of transparent Ziplock bags containing a clear crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
Delon King, 41, of Norton Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown was arrested and escorted to CANU headquarters with the suspected narcotics, which was weighed and amounted to 88.6 grams.
Investigations are ongoing.
