Quarterfinals of Courts Pee Wee Boys U11 Football Championship kicks off tomorrow

The quarterfinal section in the ninth edition of the Courts Pee Wee Boys U11 Football Championship will commence tomorrow at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue in Georgetown.

At 13.10 hours, Soesdyke will lock horns with Enterprise, whilst West Ruimveldt matches skills with North Georgetown. Marian Academy and Ann’s Grove as well as St. Pius and Redeemer will then take centre stage at 14.00 hours.

Meanwhile in the earlier 9-16 Plate section, Tucville will oppose Colaaco, while Craig will battle Timehri at 11.30 hours, whilst Smith Memorial engages Winfer Gardens and Den Amstel takes aim at Mocha from 12.20 hours.

The winner of the tournament will receive the championship trophy, gold medals, and uniforms.

Each player will also be presented with an electronic tablet.

The runners-up will collect a trophy, silver medals, and six balls, while the third-place finisher will pocket a trophy and four balls and the fourth-place side will walk away with a trophy.

On the individual side, a trophy and a pair of football cleats will be presented to the eventual Most Valuable Player, Highest Goal Scorer, and Best Goalkeeper respectively.
