Flashback – Part of the action on the opening night at the Haslington Market Tarmac in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ East Coast Demerara edition.

After two nights of elimination matches, four teams will, this evening, contest for the coveted Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ East Coast Demerara Championship tonight at the Haslington Market Tarmac.

Three of the four teams, Vryheid’s Lust, Liliendaal Hustlers and Non-Pareil, will be first-time finalists if they are successful in their semi-final encounters. Rounding out the four is former winner Beterverwagting (BV)-A.

In the opening semi-final at 19:00hrs, Vryheid’s Lust, who defeated Melanie-B in the quarterfinals, will lock horns with BV-A,  victors over Church Yard in the previous round. In the second semi-final at 19:30hrs, Non-Pareil, who bested Eagles, and Hustlers, who defeated Old School, will match skills.
