(Trinidad Express) Levi Williams, 29, and Kafele Pierre, 30, both of Malick, Barataria, were killed in Carenage last night. According to police sources, a group of friends were liming at L’Anse Mitan Road, Carenage, around 8 pm when a man approached them, pulled out a gun from his waist and opened fire. Williams and Pierre were shot several times about their bodies.
Their friends escaped the gunman who then ran off.
Williams and Pierre were taken to the Accident & Emergency Department of the St James Hospital where both were pronounced dead.
Police investigations are continuing into the matter.
